This Privacy Policy explains how Big Sky Automation ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit our website, submit a form, or communicate with us. Big Sky Automation is based in Stevensville, Montana, United States.

1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details: name, business name, email address, phone number, and the city or area your business serves.
- Form submissions: anything you enter into a form on our site, including referral submissions made by our partners on behalf of a business.
- Communications: the content of emails, text messages, and calls between us.
- Client account information: if you become a client, information needed to deliver our services, such as access to your Google Business Profile and your business EIN for carrier registration.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data: pages visited, time on page, referring URL, browser and device type, and general location derived from IP address.
- Cookies and similar technologies: including a referral tracking cookie that records which partner referred you, so we can credit them correctly. See section 6.
2. How we use your information
- To contact you about a service request, audit, or scheduled call.
- To deliver and support the services you have purchased.
- To credit a referral partner when you were referred to us.
- To send service updates, and, where you have consented, occasional marketing messages.
- To improve our website and services.
- To meet legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.
3. Mobile messaging and your phone number
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors who provide support services, such as customer service providers, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
If you provide your mobile number and consent to receive text messages, we use it only to communicate with you about the services you asked about or purchased, and, separately and only with your explicit consent, to send occasional marketing messages.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for assistance, or email info@bigskyautomation.com. Opting out of text messages does not remove you from email communication, and does not affect service delivery if you are a client.

4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these circumstances:
- Service providers who operate our systems on our behalf, under contract, and only to the extent needed to provide their service. These currently include our CRM and messaging platform, our website host, our email delivery provider, and our payment processor.
- Referral partners receive confirmation that a business they referred became a client, along with the business name, so we can pay commission correctly. Partners do not receive contact details, mobile numbers, or messaging consent data.
- Legal requirements, where we are required to disclose information by law, subpoena, or to protect our legal rights.
- Business transfer, if Big Sky Automation is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case you will be notified.
5. How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including access controls on our systems and encrypted connections to our website. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Cookies and referral tracking
Our website uses cookies to make the site work and to understand how it is used. We also use a referral cookie that records which partner referred you, so that partner can be credited. This cookie stores a partner identifier only. It does not store your personal information.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work correctly if you do.
7. How long we keep information
We keep contact and communication records for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. If you are not a client and ask us to delete your information, we will do so unless we are required to retain it.
8. Your choices and rights
- Text messages: reply STOP to any message to opt out.
- Email: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
- Access, correction, or deletion: email info@bigskyautomation.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, including the right to know what personal information we hold and to request its deletion. We do not sell personal information, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
9. Third party links
Our site links to third party services, including our scheduling and form tools. Those services have their own privacy policies, and this policy does not cover their practices.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be communicated to active clients directly.
